LOCATION
The Yerbabuena prospect is located 150 km north-northwest of Durango, Mexico. It is comprised of four mineral claims totaling 10,930.63 hectares (43 square miles.) It is accessed by gravel road.
GEOLOGY
The Yerbabuena prospect is located along a major northwest-trending fault system, which places volcanic rock against limestones and shales. Similar to the nearby, wholly-owned Rodeo Property, Yerbabuena represents the upper levels of a large precious metal-bearing epithermal system with bulk tonnage potential at surface, as well as potential for bonanza-grade gold veins and mantos at depth over significant strike lengths.
PREVIOUS WORK
Four specific gold-silver target areas have been identified with stockwork, high-grade vein and carbonate replacement potential:
YERBABUENA TARGET
- Measures 700 by 400 meters
- Prospective for bulk tonnage gold-silver mineralization within high-grade gold-silver-base metals in veins, mantos and replacement mineralization on the margin of felsic intrusives, and along favorable structures peripheral to the intrusive rocks
YESCAS TARGET
- Measures 700 by 1,000 meters
- Prospective for silver-gold and lead-zinc mineralization as replacement deposits in Cretaceous calcareous sediments, especially at the intersection of high-angle mineralized faults and dikes
SANTA RITA RIDGE TARGET
- Area measures 700 by 1,300 meters
- Prospective for discovery of open-pit stockwork mineralization and high-grade feeder veins
